A lot of people don’t realize that Blue Angel elementary is used for kids attending middle school and high school. They use it as a bus stop location. I had to drive my son every day to Blue Angel elementary to ride the bus to his high school because the bus didn’t come to our neighborhood. I was so happy when he got his license and could drive himself! The buses would often get stuck on dog track because of all the parents lined up. It’s a difficult situation when everyone is trying to get to the same place at once. Some children are late to school every day because of bus driver shortages. The buses sometimes drop off kids and go back out for more kids so the second group is always late. If your child has a consistent bus driver, it’s a blessing and a privilege that anyone should be very grateful. Bus drivers are the unsung heroes in my opinion.

This is wonderful!! And…Oh my word…someone needs to get a life!! Ever hear about the shortage of bus drivers in Escambia County? And that children have to go to school by state law? How do you suppose parents get their kids to and fro school? Why don’t you become a bus driver and a better citizen in our community. Then you can stop complaining about school traffic that lasts for 30 minutes out of the entire day.

hope its not like blue angel elementary school on dog track road. there are many days when you can’t even get down the road there’s so many parents waiting in their cars to pick up kids, the traffic backs up to blue angel parkway. then there’s the part where parents park their cars on the side streets and make it very difficult to even get down those roads to go home. lord forbid any one needs an emergency vehicle down those roads. I have complained many times to the school, school district and road and county departments, and nothing ever gets done about it.
