Well I don’t want my 8 yr old little boy seeing inappropriate books at school or anywhere else it’s bad enough social media is full of it along with TV ..I send my son to school to learn to read write do math and all the other necessary things he needs at 8 yrs old not sex education not at that age they learn that soon enough our children need God put back in school in my opinion not porn this world is so screwed up from this kinda thing. For those that don’t agree teach your kids whatever you want at home but as far as at school teach them age appropriate material

I keep reading the word banning over and over and censorship. These are not the only books that are banned from schools there are many and for good reason. After reading some of these comments it sounds as though these people want playboys and playgirls and penthouse in the library. But why stop there let’s just have all books available. And that’s the kind of thinking that had created this wonderful generation we now have.

Grooming is *not* letting a kid read a book about penguins.

Maybe if you spent a little more time reading books instead of banning them, you would understand that.

It amazes me how the far left will argue that this is “book banning” like the left doesn’t want to ban anything. A seven year old does not need to know anything about gender. Let kindergartners be kindergartners and learn how to count and recite the alphabet.

Vicki isn’t “protecting your kids” or “campaigning against corruption”.

She’s just a bigot that wants to use schools as a battlefield to brainwash your children into being just as vile, twisted, and hateful as she is.

Have you all read any of the books on her list? Can anyone tell me why “And Tango Makes Three” or “When Wilma Rudolph Played Basketball” are too “obscene” for children to read?

It’s not going to matter if u take it out of school. They r still going to see all of that on TV ,video, games, friends. One way r a nuther they going to see stuff like that. It’s the parents reasonable to talk to them .

Even if was an autobiography. And that’s shameful for a public teacher of 32 years.

Not A SINGLE THING on that list is the responsibility of the school. Every blamming thing on that list is the responsibility of their parents, the majority of that stuff should be instilled to a certain extent before a child EVER steps foot in a classroom. If you are expecting the schools to handle all of that then there is a ZERO chance of them actually learning what they are there for.
