If your buddy Jake is getting drunk and punching people in the face so hard that he breaks their jaw, then he isn’t a “good guy”, and you should probably reevaluate your choice of friends.

I’ve known Jake all of his life. He is a good young man. The article does not say what the victim did for him to be slapped. Only there was an argument. I’ll reserve judgement until all of the facts come out.
