In regard to the comment questioning if Florida still supports the Death Penalty, the answer is YES.
Additionally, Florida now has the lowest threshold for imposing the death penalty in the country. A new bill that was passed on April 20, 2023, allows juries to recommend a death sentence with an 8-to-4 vote, a change from the previous requirement of a unanimous decision from all 12 jurors.
