Joann “Jodie” Clarke White

Joann “Jodie” Clarke White, age 80, of Atmore, AL passed away on May 7, 2023. She was born on May 18, 1942, in Mobile, AL, to John Braxton and Adray T. Clarke. Jodie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and mother-in-law.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Lavelle White; her brothers, Sonny Clarke and Stan Clarke and two great grandchildren, Addy Kate White and Ben White.

She is survived by her son, Jon Steven (Kim) White of Fairhope, AL; her daughter, Jamie White (Joey) Brown of Atmore, AL; her sister, Charlene (Earnie) Frost of Mobile, AL; five grandchildren, Clarke (Callie) White, Matt Amerson, Macey (Austin) Eicher, Tyler (Megan) White and Layton White; six great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at noon at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Larry White and Speaker Earnie White officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Austin Eicher, Matt Amerson, Clarke White, Dean Soutullo, Andy Oakes and Al Bondurant.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2023, from 11 until service time at noon at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home
