No condolences or sorry to hears from me. Cheryl’s father told me about this case many years after it happened. The pain in his face when he discussed it is something that has stuck with me for decades. I hope Mr. Cain can finally can finally rest knowing Scott is no more. A very celebratory day in escambia county.

I have absolutely NO condolences for this killers family! I don’t care if he was “a good boy” growing up!! Cheryl was “ a good girl” growing up! I knew her since she was knee high to my thigh!! People do take the wrong “ paths”, but you don’t kill someone & throw them in a dumpster & expect someone to feel pity on someone when it comes back around!!!

You all need to be mindful of what you say. I went to school with him and his dad was also our school counselor. I had classes with Scott and Lynn. Both of them were good people. I’m not saying what he did was good, but he was a good young man going up. His dad really loved him and wanted the best for him he just went down the wrong path. Praying for the family.

I just realized that this young man’s father died on the same day as he died in prison. I pray for their family. No matter why he was there, from one mother to another, I’m sorry for her losses….how heartbreaking to lose your son and your husband on the same day. I cannot imagine that kind of pain and I pray I never know it.
