Second, a Driver killed this person and fled the scene with a damaged vehicle and left this person to die. Those are the ONLY two things that should matter. Yes, bad time to be walking down the Interstate but it happened. I pray that this person didn’t lie there suffering and/or alone in their final minutes on this Earth. I pray the driver comes forward and owns up to their crime. Yes, it’s a vehicular homicide charge now instead of no charges filed. It’s beyond me that one can hit someone/something and not get out of their vehicle to check on what/who they hit and/or check for damages. Y’all sit and argue over if it was legal/illegal to walk down the Interstate and I’m gonna pray for all involved. If you go to that area, it has a big homeless population. As of today, there's a lady living with her belongings under some tarps on the side of the off ramp at Pine Forest rd on cracker barrel side. I would not doubt it was one of the homeless folks cutting across from one side to the other. To all the people asking why was someone walking on the interstate?
