What if the Officer was given the opposite story? His job is to call someone to remove the truck from the middle of the Interstate, take the victim's incident report and call in an APB for the Good Samaritan's Kia, possibly not in that order. Did you expect him to leave a truck in the middle of I-65, and leave the guy who is probably irate with no vehicle? Hopefully, they have better SOP's than that. However, it looks like someone caught up with her, and she apparently was too stupid to not add on to the charges by assaulting someone between her arrest and the jail. What a treat of a human being she is!! All's well that ends well! I just hope she didn't do any damages to that poor man's car! Thank goodness there are people willing to be a LEO, helping those who don't appreciate them and being willing to walk around in today's world in a uniform that may lead someone to wish them harm in spite of the sacrifices that they are willing to make for helping folks. @FTP, they do not chase a vehicle down like in the movies.
