As a 74 year old, a 10 year driver of motor coaches dealing with people and alcohol ism i have learned that alcohol consumptions does only one thing. Alcohol consumption in any amount NEVER BUILDS YOU UP, IT ONLY TAKES YOU DOWN! And to the lowest levels!

this young man came from a missionary background to South America. He had recently started college at PCC. One of my son-in laws and and grand kjds have gone on mission trips to assist the boys father with some projects and many others are planning to go this summer.The young man came from a good background of service on the mission field. I would recommend contributions for family expenses.

The young man is now with the Lord. Mr. Martin needs prayer for his salvation if he isn’t saved. God can and will forgive him for this. I can’t imagine sobering up and realize I killed someone. If he is a long time drinker he will be going through detox. Praying for him and his family. I’m sure they were always afraid this would happen. Definitely praying for the young man’s family also.

I’m so tired of people driving under the influence and hurting or killing others.
I hope this clown never sees the light of day again.
Yeah, I believe in an eye for an eye in these cases, apparently that’s the only message that people would understand to “STOP THIS BEHAVIOR” you kill somebody you get the death penalty.
Senseless loss of a young life because you didn’t care about anyone else but yourself.

Reading these comments are tough. All it takes is one day to ruin your whole life and someone’s else life. This man is a hardworking, tender hearted individual, one I know personally. He has a family and would give anyone the shirt off his back. He also had a drinking problem, but honestly so does more than half of everyone who lives on the gulf coast. It’s so easy to demonize him until it’s your father, your brother, your uncle, your friend. My heart breaks for the 19 year old who was killed. This is a tragedy to say the least. I cannot imagine loosing someone I love this way. It’s tragic. I can nothing but pray..for the families, for their friends, one life is lost and one life is ruined. A sad day. If you have a drinking problem, tell someone, get help before it’s too late.
