He was always talking to the girls and had the boys sit anytime they came up to him. I thought it was weird then but didn't think much of it. When I went to Beulah Middle he also went and I would go to his class then and he would do the same thing only talk to the girls but never did I think this would happen. Makes me not want to trust any of my teachers considering he was my favorite teacher I ever had. He was my advanced art teacher when I went to woodham middle school for 6th grade. She said the exact same thing.. he was rude to her and he definitely had his favorite students. She dropped out of art and decided to not go into advanced art because she couldn’t stand him as a teacher. Looking back now I should have put in a complaint on him for my daughters sake but to be honest it probably would have been overlooked. When she told me this story all she could say was “mommy I told you something was weird about him”. Not to mention This is the second teacher that has had this issue, while my daughters have gone to school. The last was the ferry pass teacher a few years ago that taught my oldest daughter. Shortly after then got caught with a student. What is going on? We need to be involved as much as we can for our children’s sake. Ask questions.. and be cautious! Tim smith was made aware and did nothing for my child when confronted and email his office. Failure! I remember when my children were in middle school, they would come home complaining about one of their teachers who were doing this to one of the students. I dismissed it at the time because I didn’t want to believe it was happening, but they were adamant that it was true. I later came to believe it because that teacher ended up marrying her student when he graduated high school. I feel like if the kids knew what was going on, someone in authority had to know also, but chose to look the other way. She stole that child’s innocence and got away with it. The sad part is that she’s still married to her victim to this day.
