I was a “No” vote. This should be optional if you want to give, then donate to them. What a waste! Just look at the fees on our ECUA , FPL and property bills. We need to Repeal!

I didn’t vote for it but, voters approved it, so we got it. It is like every other government program that spends our money. Name one government program that is efficient.

I didn’t vote for it and don’t appreciate more people feeling themselves to be so generous with money not given to them but taken against our will. I would love to see this program taken down hard.

Well, I didn’t vote it in. But I most certainly will be checking for accountability for these funds. I live in East Hill, have no young kids, don’t mind helping those who do but these “programs” must be closely monitored by the citizens who are forced to pay them.
Property taxes go up up UP every year.
And now its time for an accountability squad to find out why and to make sure these 100s of thousands of dollars are being used in a way that will produce A+ students and children who stay out of trouble.

Wow if I knew it was all going to go to the city, I would never have voted for it. So many deserving programs and children that could use them but will never get access simply because they live too far away…….sad.

REPEAL THE TAX. It was voted in, so it can be voted out.
