It will be okay. People don’t remember the store at that intersection a few decades ago. I think it burned down, but I’m not sure. It surely won’t hurt anymore than a nasty, stinking, dirty, noisy cement pipe factory or tar facility that are already there.

OK District 5 with 3 new subdivisions being built in Molino WHEN ARE WE GOING TO GET A GROCERY STORE. It is in my opinion more house being built Commissioner would look at what is need for Molino residents. Dollar General and FAMILY Dollar stores are not GROCERY STORES.

This is a great idea, because it will force them to install a red light at an already god awful corner. As for growth and trying to say it shouldn’t be there or they don’t help the community— remember the company that builds there employs and spends — everybody makes the money — WalMart employees are your community just as Circle K employees are the community. The odds of any restaurant going up that direction is going to take a leap and a ton of money. Too volatile and too hard to get employees to undertake food right now!!

And with the addition of this store, in comes a traffic signal (at about $115,000 taxpayer expense) and speed limits dropping from 65 to 55 or 45 mph.

The commute time is about to get longer.

WHAT!!!!! Again, a business that can’t find anyone to work at these places (just like Dollar General) so yes robbery will be on the list.

Oh and Jr, yes you can stop things like this from happening, it’s just the information isn’t put out to the public until the “deal” has been done. In our area, we stopped houses from being built by a scam builder who bought up a lot of land just so he could swoop in make BIG money, build crappy houses then LEAVE the area.
These businesses don’t care about the communities, just about money. Also, self-checkout is everywhere so maybe they won’t be employing many people. And the prices at Circle K’s are not cheap.

Goodness…I’ve never read where so many are whining/complaining about something they CANNOT change. This is a very much needed project for this area. I understand the people not wanting anymore built out here in our paradise but growth is something we cannot control…we must adapt. I agree with those welcoming a light at this intersection…it’s been long needed there.
@Happy Camper…I wondered about that Popeyes as well…have t heard anything else about it. The Golf Course? Naw, I’m not thinking International Paper will allow Wal Mart to move in across the street. You see, IP owns that land and from what I understand, it’s not for sale.
Welcoming this new store and thank goodness it’s not a fast food or Dolla Gentral

I was hoping for a branch of McGuires Irish Pub, or simply a Publix/Walmart/Lowes Combination… But a gas station sounds just as feasible.
