Although I often think you are rash in your statements, this is the first time I fully disagree with you. They didn’t say these men didn’t have anything to do with it, they just said they didn’t have enough to follow through with a trial. When they get more evidence, they will be rearrested, if they make it that long. Until then, they will probably be being hunted on the streets.

And I’m the event they are not prosecuted the bond the fees for everything is just pushed on the individuals and the state says that’s your problem!!! See ya got to understand its a costly experience when charged with anything peroid so don’t pretty it up and act like it doesn’t cost the people charged guilty or not either way !!!!

Sufficient evidence was gathered to obtain an arrest warrant. After a continued investigation, evidence was insufficient to go to trial and obtain a guilty verdict. Prosecutors only get one chance to get a conviction. After it goes to court and a not guilty verdict is obtained – double jeopardy applies and they can’t be tried again for the same charges. The dropped charges merely means they won’t be prosecuted at this time. They can be charged again should new evidence warrant it. Their release doesn’t mean they’re innocent.

The legal standard for the Office of State Attorney to prosecute a crime requires a greater standard of proof beyond and to the exclusion of reasonable doubt. Currently, the evidence does not meet that standard,’ the State Attorney’s Office said in a statement.”

Nobody said that they had nothing to do with it. just that there was not enough evidence to take them to trial. Apparently there was sufficient evidence to arrest.
