People have to cross that road and have no choice. The problem is that there isn't much police patrolling to help keep speeders from running the light and punching it when it turns green. It's like death race 2000 around there from mobile hwy to Memphis ave. Something needs to be done and done asap. It's been a huge problem for years. That has been a problem since it was installed. Drivers speed, run the light in both directions, pedestrians cross in back of the first car ? which I can't figure out. Motor cycles will come up between the two lanes to beat us when the light turns green. I drive Michigan Ave for sport, to learn new driving skills. Very sad for the lady and the driver.
