Rest assured despite their claims otherwise, this project will take 5 to 10 years to complete. As examples I offer the construction on Davis Hwy. it nearly ruined University Mall completely. Multiple national retailers closed. I lost county if the private businesses that closed shop. Hwy 29 in Ensley. What a mess! Poorly thought out and even more poorly implemented. I would pass through the area for days at a time and see NO ONE at work. Should I even mention what everyone went through at the I-10 and Scenic Highway Interchange or the I-10 and Davis interchange?
