It it my opinion that these attacks against police officers should be met with stiffer sentencing for those who are the attackers rather than the seemingly disregard of the attacks by the judges. These men are putting their very lives on the line each and every day, and they need to know that those in charge of officiating the judicial system has got the officers backs. Now if a judge receives a threat, they expect the officers to respond in a way to insure their safety, but the judges do not seem to care that those who protect them has the same consideration. Maybe that's just my opinion, but I once wore a badge and uniform in another state, so maybe I am looking at it with a slanted point of view, but that's my two bits worth.
