It is time for them to do a complete study of this road, how many deaths and accidents happen weekly. The traffic situation is totally changed since people travel from Pensacola to the casino in Atmore. The road has not changed in over 70 years. They could make a third lane at intervals on each side of the road to allow the slower traffic to move over and allow drivers that want to at least drive the speed limit since you are limited to safely passing because of the hills and curves on the two lane road. It would not be as expensive as four laning the road although how do you value the lives that could be save and lives and the accidents with life injuries that have occurred in the last 20 years.

Meadows Road is a total pothole mess. County has done big a patch job for years.
County paved Nokomis Road which did not need re-paving. What a waste of taxpayer money.

About time! They widened 99 south of the 97A split when it was repaved. I hope they do the same on this stretch.

It’s a shame they couldn’t widen it just a little. It would save a lot of side mirrors.

I hope they widen it by about 18 in on each side school buses have to run off the road when they meet a log truck
