I have seen first hand the difference between really good leadership and really bad leadership. What comes down from the Sheriff sets the tone for the whole agency. Recently I attended a neighborhood watch program at which Sheriff Simmons spoke. My first impression of him and his team was that they are a cohesive and exemplary force. “When the righteous rule, the people rejoice” . And the bad guys aren’t too happy.
