Arrested but not convicted. Amazing how so many people are about locking him away without a trial. Accusations do not mean guilty. It means he needs to be given a fair trial.

I agree, @RaD. All of these Officers committing crimes does not make their background checks OR the Sheriff look very responsible. They didn’t notice problems during Field Training?

I have always said santa rosa sheriff Bob Johnson needs to clean his own house before his deputies can clean our streets and tax payers houses. Seven years and this comes now – incredible!

This incident happened a long time back. Not sure how it can take this long to bring out a charge against someone. It sounds like another type of issue as the article says it did not happen at work or while on duty.
Was he passed out drunk on the beach with his … hanging out or was it a intentional act?

I find a few things of note after actually reading the article. The charges stem from an incident 7 years ago and while it is not unusual for the public to sentence someone before an actual conviction, I find the Sherriff’s comments in poor taste considering a trial has yet to take place.
