The SA is so afraid of loosing a case so they accept a ple deal. This marks a win for them to their record of success. You have to loose some in order to win. Pathetic!!!!

State Atty likely offerered a Plea Deal of No Contest for the 21 years in prison rather than go for First Degree Premeditated Murder and Death Penalty.
Probably done to avoid a lengthy trial and likely outcome from jury that would not result in Death Penalty.
State often makes a decision based on whether they can or cannot bring a case to conclusion we the people feel should be imposed.

Convicted First-Degree murder should get the death penalty and the method of execution should be same as the victim.

I thought second degree only applied if it was NOT premeditated? I wonder why they dropped it down to second degree. What mitigating circumstances were considered? That sentence is ridiculous.
