I doubt he knew the guy had plans to kill his long time girl friend with the gun. If the intelligent professional victim herself was not concerned about her boyfriend’s criminal past, why would outsiders be? Drug convictions, embezzlement – all kinds of offenses make you a felon!

Since he knew, it shouldn’t be “UP to 10 years”. It should be 10 years minimum. If he had more knowledge of what the gun would be used for he should be charged even more. Tired of hearing about “Guns are bad” and then seeing criminals get minimum time.
