Whatever happened to the habitual offender laws that are supposed to keep these individuals with little or no regard for the law and for society in prison? If there are little to no consequences for illegal behavior it will only get worse.

I guess the ECSO doesn’t have enough to do. They capture these convicted felons, put them in jail, they are released on bond, so the felons leave town, then go look for them again because they don’t show up for court appearance. Seems like a case of cat and mouse and a waste of taxpayers money. Maybe not all leave town, but I would think a great number do. Don’t get me wrong, I know and believe that the ECSO is doing a great job by capturing these thugs. Go get em guys and get them off the street. Thank you for your service!!
