Better check your antifreeze in your vehicles and equipment too- I checked several today for people who would have busted engine blocks come Monday.

I have heard of people running some RV antifreeze through their washing machine on the drain cycle.

For those that have washers and dryers with steam option and in an area exposed to the outside Temps I strongly suggest draining completely with shop vac at discharge hose or opening front drain port if available, but be ready with towels, catch pan or vacuum. Another option is to put a 25w standard bulb inside
drum area and close door/lid to help keep temps above freezing..Leds won’t do it.
The cost of a cracked tub or pump will ruin your holiday and any water remaining will seep out once things thaw and it will never fill up leaving a big mess.
