You can see the astronomical odds of winning if it has rolled over 37 times with no winner. 1 point 2 Billion if a single winner, dwindles down to 596.7 million if taken in a lump sum cash payment, then further reduced by I think an over 50% Federal income tax. While Florida does not have an income tax, many other states do, which further reduce the final total. A single winner might expect to give up two thirds of that Billion plus, before receiving even a single penny. For an older person it would not make logical sense to take the extra money in 30 annual payments, due to their life expectancy of not living long enough to collect it all in their lifetime. I am not greedy, so I guess I could manage to live on the 300 million or so of what is left after all deductions are taken out, a far cry from the advertised 1.2 billion though!
