I agree with Kelley Haveard. The turn arrow remains yellow when the southbound lane has a green light. The turn arrow needs to turn red. People now days think yellow light means speed up to make the light.

JIB, YUP. Had to take Defensive driving where I worked. 9 times in 45 years. Probably saved me from 50 wrecks in last 5 years.

In my opinion wrecks are as bad or worse since the boon doggle that led to the light being placed there occurred.

Why can’t Florida do like Alabama? At dangerous intersections or intersections where you have been driving for a while and don’t expect a traffic light, they put a flashing light near the red light above the highway. I knew to be looking for the red lights and still had trouble seeing the green light. It blended in – maybe it was just the sky that day I don’t know because I don’t usually travel up there but I was so close to one of those lights it was scary .

People pay attention an stop being in such a hurry. I was at a large intersection..Davis an Airport..my light turn green. FIVE cars ran the red light…I had to wait before going….YELLOW SLOW DOWN…RED STOP.

When will they realize that a RED ARROW is needed at this intersection? Obviously people can’t always judge distance and speed accurately! How many more people have to be injured or die for them to make this happen?

RE: CRB. You are so right. Folks are so impatient in their driving. They see a big rig coming (18 wheeler, big RV or what ever) seems that their thought is I don’t want to get behind that slow poke, and pull right out in front of them. Lot of Rig and a lot of weight and the results aren’t pretty as in this case. Just saying so maybe folks will pay more attention, be more courteous and don’t drive like they are in bumper cars at the Fair.
