I know that the country deputies are up there to some extent, but then again Imy wife and I only travel 97 twice a week. But perhaps if there was an unmarked car or two to really crack down, that may help. There again all drivers have to assume their own personal responsibility for their own actions.

Strange, it happened to me just a couple weeks ago in that same area, right on top of the hill by the pump station… 2am, a Chevy truck swerved into my lane and I had to hit the ditch to keep from having a head-on.

A driver ran me completely off the road Monday morning on 97 around 0530. He/she was passing another vehicle in the fog. I realized they were in my lane and got completely off the road at the last minute. Would have likely killed us both.

I’m not a expert but sounds like the person driving in the wrong lane is either impaired by some type of substance or just simply don’t know how to drive !!! This person probably needs to have a new evaluation of his or hers drivers license!!! Reason being because they almost killed a bunch of people!!!!!

The truck traveling south in the north bound lane ran us off the road at top of Wiggins lake hill on the north side. They also ran the two cars in front of us off the road a Volkswagen and something else. I am thankful my husband did not loose control going into the grass the way we did. God was looking out for us. I would like to know why they were traveling south in the north bound lane. I’m thankful they did not kill anyone.
