Yes,they have the test results for a DUI charge thats why he has a DUI charge.
Do you think him murdering is a bit more important to innocents whose life was taken by him?
His child has no father now..a blood test is moot at that point.
Many suffer and need help.

The daughter is still in very critical condition. The family has so much more to go through and a valuable life was lost. We can only hope he has finally learned a lesson after court and processing. Very sad situation.

Did the police get his blood drawn to test for alcohol and other substances that would impair driving?

If not going to be hard to convict of the greater charge of DUI Crash that resulted in death.

He is scum and as such cost a whole family grief and took from them a part that can never be replaced. \

But to get up in front of a judge and say you not guilty is just horrible.
That tells the judge and jury you needing the full level of law to come down on him, He could have accepted his guilty plea in hopes of get lower sentence for not wasting time in court.

@Wayne well said! What this guy did was unforgivable and now he basically denies he did it. His brain is burnt out from drug and alcohol abuse. Now it’s HIS turn to pay. He needs to rot in a cell.

My heart goes out to the deputys family who must now endure a dragged out court event .
Plenty of drunk cowards in this world.
