And than to know that the man who hit her didnt even try to stop to help. It makes me sick to my stomach. My mom was already very sick and we were all so worried that we set it up for her to come to town to be able to say goodbye and give her love and than the very night that she gets to Pensacola she gets hit and killed. And now we will never get that chance. On top of it she was hit so hard and caused such damage to her that we had to cremate her because there wasn't enough of her body left to even have a burial. So it got taken from us 2 fold. First when she was hit and killed. But then to find out that we couldn't even have a casket for her to be able to grieve and get our closure. It's just not fair. My life will always be broken and is never going to fully heal. Why did this have to happen? That was my mama and I just still can’t believe that she is gone.
