There is a special place in Hell for any and all who hurt Children, Elderly and Animals! Society may not be able to bring you to the deserved justice but you will face it.
What you have taken away can never be replaced. (Not that you ultimately care)
I just laid to rest a mare that I spent 33yrs of my life with and I promise you, what you have done is create a heartache for those who shared theirs with this fella. Does not matter if you had a “beef” with the owner or not, this is not how one handles it. I would not believe this to be a “hunting accident” because I have never looked upon a Deer with White Socks not to mention the Full Blaze that had to be seen!
Make It Easier with these two options ~ Come Forward and Own Your Actions or Brag (someone will like the reward offered more than you)

Off memory, Animals along Jacks Branch Rd being shot, Cow being roped & drug in Walnut Hill and then you have the daily starvation/abuse cases – Wondering how much we have to endure before a harsh example is set?

I was wrong with my comment assuming drunk hoodlums did this. To shoot a horse twice in the head they had to come really close to the pasture and then aim in the dark.
I hope ESCO investigates if the owner had some kind of quarrel with someone. I doubt that a reward offered for information would bring results. Just like the Shootings over drugs – there is some distorted code of silence in the community.
