And to be honest his sexual charge was when he was 15-16 he violated that probation by breaking into a soda machine as kids. Then he got out violated condition when back came out was involved in a girl getting killed in a hotel room did years again for that and was just released close to 2018-19 he isn't a predator he's a dummy. That is all. And it's 7 years for not registering 7 for the fire arm 7 for the trafficking and 14 for the continued escalation of criminal behavior. Known this guy most of my life. He’s definitely not a sex predator. I know everyone’s experiences and opinions are different, but 35 years is too long. Give the man a chance to live his life instead of letting a teenage decision stigmatize the life he’s worked very hard to change. Doesn’t seem he has an uncontrollable compulsion to molest kids, which is the reason for keeping track of sexual predators. Sounds more like Kids exploring with kids- each case is different . slippery slope to brand and punish a person for life. Of course being in possession of drugs is a different matter - but had it not for failure to register they would not have searched his residence. There is no record that in the 23 years since then, he has committed additional crimes of this nature. So at 40 years old, he is going to prison for 30 years or basically the rest of his life for failure to register for a crime committed 23 years ago as a juvenile. I am not forgiving the man for his crimes but 30 years for failure to register seems a little excessive. The cost to incarcerate him for those 30 years will come to $28K/year or $841K total, according to the State of Florida's OPPAGA website.
