They should also take a look at PROPERTY TAX. It would be nice if senior citizens could be exempt from property tax on their residences, like they are in Alabama. This is a project making millions of dollars for Escambia County.....NO the State taxpayers should not give them one more cent! Escambia removed an entire section of land from the tax rolls in Santa Rosa thanks to a dysfunctional SRC government agreement. Hmmmm wonder who got paid for that? OLF-8 ???? As far as the FDOT Work Plan is concerned, what ever happened to the Longleaf Extension from Blue Angel Parkway to Creighton Road? We need another East-West thoroughfare between Brent Lane/Michigan and 9 Mile Road. This was on the books long before the Beulah Road I-10 Exit. Why isn't ECUA asking for funds for a wastewater lift station. If it's funded--does the County just give it to them, and lose we one of our Asks? Just Curious. Who’s priorities are these?
