It seems like nothing ever changes. After working as an I&E Technician at ECUA for 15 years, I left the area for a better opportunity in 2012. Most of the key people calling the shots when I left are STILL running the show. This is totally ridiculous.

The ECUA board is elected to oversee a state-run utility that serves YOUR community. Why do y’all keep voting for these professional politicians as opposed to concerned citizens? Start barking at your State Representatives to bring about changes on how YOU want YOUR utility run.

It is time for term limits at ECUA too. Gov. DeSantis needs to make that happen. ECUA is just as bad about raising rates as FPL has done.

Sounds like the Status Quo is still in effect. The famous definition of Insanity (doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results) must apply to the ECUA. That being said and considering what inflation has been running, expect a 10% increase in all utilities sometime this coming year.
