The bond is a joke. He needs to be put away. Intense counseling for the woman and the children. She keeps going back. He will eventually kill her. Something needs to be done. If she doesn’t stay away from him, at least get the kids out of this horrible situation. They watch their mom get beat. They are learning to be victims and/ or abusers.

I disagree with anything concerning any restraining order.
If you require one to keep a person away,that person needs to be locked up.
A piece of paper and GPS monitoring did not help my friend Carla Elaine Williams who went through this.
I worked with Carla and her dad.
Very honest and good people.
It shows the court system and its bureaucracies are extremely, extremely ineffective.
To many people have died at the hands of that legal system bureaucracy.
At least you care.

This girl should get a restraining order NOW, stay away and certainly keep her kid away. These guys are sick. Sweet talking one minute then angry as h*ll the next. He’s probably beating her because of his own beatings in prison. Weak to beat on a woman. Hopefully, a woman will beat his rear one day.

@SueB ~ The jury system is the best we’ve got, but the judge is the one who usually does the sentencing, based on the jury’s findings, within the constraints of the law. I think that’s what needsbto change: make the punishments stricter as the incidents repeat, something like the 3 strikes law. And I agree; these punks usually escalate their behavior until someone is killed.

The system will let him out again, and again until he kills. Then the jury system (if not changed) will give him life with possibilty of parole but after 20 to 25 years he is a good prisoner. Then he will continue to do what he does best, beating up helpless people.
This woman and her child has to get away from this thug before she end up in the system. And seek help for the child.
