You are so full of yourself self-righteous attitude that you don’t get the point. It is not about “who” applied for the job! It is how you treat people. Out of all the applicants, your buddy, by his own choice, chose to single out two specific candidates to poke fun at…working class people. And just for the record the Funeral Director did have enough qualification to make it on the top 13 short list. He was a former City Administrator. Know your facts before you defend his actions.

As far as me knowing how to run county business, anybody, including the former Waffle House could do as well if not better than a lot of foot-in-mouth politicians can. Power corrupts some folks mind and makes once wonderful people look down their noses at the ones who put them there. You go ahead and defend Berggy, that’s you right. As I said before, looks like the overwhelming majority of opinions see things quite different than you do.

As I have tried to say over and over, it’s not about how wealthy you are or how much power you have, it’s how you treat other people. Remember the old saying, “be very careful of those you step on the way up the ladder of success…for they may be the ones stepping on you on their way up the ladder someday!”

I have enjoyed the banter with you citizen, but I have to go to work now to do my part to pay Jeff’s salary. You have a wonderful day.

He opened up a Beach Access #4 the D2 commissioner was keeping for himself, after we paid for it. He just helped get a pile of oyster shells off the 2nd largest public beach, just last week. He helped get rid of the past Med director who wreaked havoc on the entire organization because a paramedic dared to complain about her friend smoking instead of driving an ambulance, ruining about 5 past employees carreers but he is sticking up for them. Big deal about the comments on here.

Do you have any idea what it might take to run a county government?

He has done the most in the shortest time in office of any other commissioner in his district. He stands up for what is right and is not afraid to say so. He continues to conduct himself in the highest regards serving the people who elected him. Hope to see him elected again our commissioner in 2024.
