I’ve known the “suspect of the murder” for 25+ years and believe him to be no “murderer”. I find it extremely hard to believe that he would have discharged his firearm on another unless he felt his life was threatened and then again on himself unless he was scared or consumed with grief.

More details need to be gathered as to the intent of the “victim” and whether he was involved in the earlier “incident”.

OMG, y’all quit arguing about the composition of the article! This guy was busted for battery at 2 am. He was released at 6am and kills someone at 9am. It’s all probably connected. Why was he able to get out so quickly? What good does it do to take someone off the streets and then let them go a couple hours later. This is a failure of the system to protect all of us. That’s what people should be concerned about here.
