So, the problem in 95A is not being fixed at all. A lot of the traffic is “local” traffic too. Now let’s say people do begin to use Neil Road. You’re now pushing all that traffic onto that street and to a stop sign at Hwy 29. I guarantee you’ll start seeing more crashes there.

I Have said Barry will not see this through. Im sorry but tickets for blocking the right of way needs to be given out and Barry needs to be standing there watching. Somebody is going to get killed there if this is not fixed. upkeep of that current road is not going to fix the problem.

This is not dealing with the problem at all. This should be a widening and lengthening project. They are not dealing with the problem at Jim Allen at all. They are just resurfacing the road. This is an insult to the area, our councilman should be embarrassed by this.

Well hopefully this plan will make everyone’s coffee taste better every morning. More pavement. The data clerk at Jim Allen loves to tell the story of when Jim Allen first got a paved drive and how the pavement wore down the wagon wheels, long before traffic problems. She was always first to school to light the wood burning stoves on those cold Cantonment mornings. God bless her. Anyways, remember to be patient. Don’t pass people in the car line, and remember all the teachers and staff are doing the best they can, jumping the same hoops and hurdles as the rest of us, just trying to keep the kids safe, especially that coach. Just to let everyone know we the people of this county have paid for the job to be done many many times over!!! The county needs to also widen the narrow road now !!! People are moving here in droves!!! Of course the county decides how bad the roads are before anything is done in this case the road should have been paved 2 times since the last time it was paved

On the surface this sounds good…like progress is being made. Read between the lines, folks! “Signage” to redirect traffic during school let in/out times is a start. HOWEVER……it sounds like a bandaid approach to a serious potential traffic nightmare that won’t be resolved by a mere sign! Notice Mr. Barry did not say the road would be widened or an additional lane added ANYWHERE! The dilemma comes when the subdivisions are complete and the traffic has multiplied exponentially! Then what?
