How do they decide who rooms with who? Is it murderers with murderers ect…?
Personally I feel if you commit a crime that results in death or with the threat of death, using a gun or knife ect. then the punishment should be death.

I spent ten years in prison on a nonviolent offense some of them at blackwater river. You people have no idea what you are talking about. You have no clue what life inside is like. I have been stabbed twice once in the face for standing up for myself the officers did not help. In fact I spent 30 days in solitary as punishment for someone attempting to murder me. What if I felt like in order to not get killed I had to kill first? That’s prison. Think before you speak. Especially when passing judgement on someone’s life.

So he killing somebody in 1995 (probably a decent, productive citizen) wasn’t enough to get him the death penalty, but killing another drain on the taxpayer is? Well, at least he finally got the death penalty. Now if he lives another 35 years maybe they’ll actually carry it out. That’s why the death penalty isn’t an effective deterrent anymore. Too long of a wait while lawyers claim he was mistreated as a child, had a low IQ…blah, blah, blah. If you’re too stupid to know it’s wrong to kill somebody you need to be put down, like they do with vicious dogs that run around biting everybody.

If he can be sentenced to death…why can’t others who have been convicted of murder by any “reasonable doubt?” That sure would free up space in the jail and prison system and taxpayers wouldn’t have to dish out so much to take care of these murderous criminals.
