It is VERY SAD that ppl are so cavalier about a Human (mother of 4) dying. NOBODY knows the facts from this article. Quit being so dang hateful. I knew her an her children are Lost now. Accidents happen for everybody involved. Rest in Peace girl.

Bill T, we’re you there? No you weren’t. Yielding to a person who stole a publix shopping cart because she was too lazy to walk is just plain stupid. SHE WAS NOT IN A CROSSWALK GENIUS. I feel sorry for the driver who will be senselesly sued by her lazy family.

Yesterday, Sunday early afternoon, I saw TWO people riding ONE electric cart made for one handicapped person close by where this accident happened. This was on University Blvd right at that entrance to the Publix and Panera Bread. The cart came down the driveway to the street and turned on the street instead of turning on the sidewalk, headed south. I observed them because I was stopped in the left turn lane waiting on the traffic light. I agree that all car drivers need to be careful around these electric carts and be patient. But the person on the electric cart needs to follow the rules also. Rest in Peace.

I understand that the vehicle may not have yielded, but it was pitch dark outside when I drove by the scene. These “motorized shopping carts” do not have lights on them. It should have never been on the road, especially after dark. This is very sad for both sides. Condolences to the family of the loss.

The reason the lady I’d dead is because of the person who failed to yield the right of way !!! If the person who killed her would have obeyed the law the lady would still be here !!! Don’t matter how or on what she was riding or driving !!!!!

Saying a ‘motorized shopping cart’ makes some of these people think it belonged to a store. There are people that have their own motorized cart, and some do drive them around some roads. It’s not safe, or street legal, I don’t believe. I would assume if the lady had ’stolen’ the cart from Target or Publix etc. it would say so in the article.

Regardless of what she was operating!!! So you see who was wrong now or at least i hope you have enough sense to understand who is wrong like you !!!!!
