I was a contractor for 30 years in Florida and it’s those that do bad that makes the good ones suffer. I remember when the competency board was feared. Now they have become a bunch of wet noodles. For those folks out there getting ripped off by bogus contractors there is a recovery fund. Those out there that were a victim and the competency board sat on their hands you should think about naming them in a lawsuit. After all your tax dollars pay them. Escambia county sends you a property tax bill every year to which they demand payment. Demand they do there job !!!!

The county was asleep at the wheel.
Now they want to create a rehab blaming it over the entity they wasnt monitoring.
Get rid of the sleepers and that would actually be a start.

Competency and Board. Two words that should not be used together by either the commission or this entity. LOL!
