Will the “contractor” pay to fix this? Doubtful, since I hear through the grapevine that the water line was not marked by the water company. As a customer/member of the water works you should be asking, “How did this happen?” “Why?”, you ask, because you will be responsible for paying the overtime to the employees responsible for repairing this error.

That’s why you have filters.Do not use any ice from ice maker until 24-36 hours after boil water notice has expired.That’s what I’ve done for years and had no problems.

How do they recommend you boil the water prior to it going into the ice maker?
