@ Jim…with all the controversy over the last election and the “mail in” voting I would rather know for sure that my ballot was recorded. We’ve always voted in person so why the change now? I’m not getting into a political argument about this. Just don’t understand why some want to push their agenda on someone else that likes to vote in person. Shoot, I don’t trust the USPS to get my CHRISTmas cards to the intended recipients(one was mailed in November and didn’t make it ACROSS TOWN till January. You vote your way and I’ll vote my way…in person. I know your comment to @ Anne was just a question but what’s wrong with voting like we’ve always done….IN PERSON?

Anne – IN PERSON early voting is available at many facilities throughout the county. It may actually be more convenient for you as there may be a polling location closer than your normal one, as that’s how it worked for us. The in person voting is the same and the same machines and everything, you go in they check your ID, you get your ballot, vote and feed your ballot into the machine, you just get to do it when it’s most convenient for you. A lot of people can’t always take the time off on Election Day to go stand in line possibly for hours. This way, no line, no wait, no having to take time off from work. Nothing sketchy about it.
