When I was a young driver my Dad warned me “you may be able to outrun one cop, but you’ll never outrun their radio”. Don’t run from the cops!

@J.S. “plain out heartless” and “cold hearted” because we have an opinion? Usually we see younger, inexperienced riders doing this sort of thing, so yeah, I was surprised to see the age. If that bothers you, maybe reading the news and/or comments is not a good thing for you. I don’t have to say the word “pray” to show I care.

@Just Saying – yes, that is who I was speaking of but chose not to add names other than a nickname. I have no idea why he was called Stykie but that’s what all of us in the neighborhood knew him as. Thanks for the additional info.

George Georgiades and his wife, Deomi, owned the Dainty Del Restaurant. Their sons, Constantine (Gus) and Nick, ran the kitchen. Gus passed away after a motorcycle wreck.

It was surprising to me to see that this rider was 57 years old. It’s very sad that this had to happen. If he’d just followed the law, he would be alive today. SO very sorry for his family and friends.
@A Alex – I believe you are speaking of the young man we knew in school as Stykie. That was many years ago
