“Yall only know one side” Apparently you haven’t read the police report. May want to get your hands on that before you say something. Yes, this was a tragic accident, but John Kinds straight left Travis to die on the side of the road and went home to sleep in his comfortable bed. No one has to judge, he just did it and now he will have to live with that and Travis’ friends and family will have to live without him because of that choice.

Are you kidding me? My friend was left dead on the side of the road. The man who killed him tells police he hit a cardboard box before switching his story up and I shouldn’t be quick to judge? Get real. John Kings is a coward that killed a good man. Whether he planned this or not is irrelevant. It does not change the fact that Travis is dead because of him, just as it won’t make John Kings any less responsible for this. The fact that he left him to die like that says it all. How awful this is. I feel so bad for the family and everyone that loves him. Miss you homie

The sidewalk is closed at that spot due to some type of repairs. This was an odd, unfortunate crossing of paths at that exact time and place by two men that worked in the same profession and were actually friends. The driver will have to live with this.

The driver that found Mr. Travis Hurd on the road was my husband. He is a good man and is trying to deal with this This situation is terrible for all involved. I feel so bad for Travis Hurd’s family. NO ONE should treat another human being this way.

Bless it all. Travis was one of the good ones! So sad to hear this news!! Praying for his family as they go through this trying time and grieve their loved one. Pensacola has lost a kind soul with this one!
