@Lee……Why wouldn’t my gripe be about gas prices, just like every other American. What I am saying is, if tapping into the reserve had positive effects it wouldn’t have gotten to the level it has. The 3rd time it was dipped into in April it has brought prices down a whopping $.80, which means nothing compared to what they rose to. The reserves are now lower than they have been in 40 years and what happens when they need to be refilled?

@Charlotte R Bates. Gas was cheaper prior to Covid and the war in Ukraine. Those factors drove prices up. Had nothing to do with who was president.

@Lee…..How many times has Biden tapped into the reserves? Here’s a hint. The last time but not the first was April 1, 2022. If that action has an impact on prices then they shouldn’t have raised to this level due tk the fact that the other times were months before.

WOW! I am so excited that gas prices are below four bucks a gallon. I am being sarcastic. Until the gas prices are back down to less than two fifty a gallon, I am not going to get excited about gas prices being above three bucks a gallon. I have a small business, and I sometimes will travel to PA to buy for the business. When Trump was in office, and me driving a large Nissen Envy high top van, pulling an enclosed trailer as big as my van, I could go up there and, running around looking for stuff, and back for less than four hundred backs, with a very loaded van and trailer. I can’t do it this year. I figured out it would cost me at least, if not more, a thousand bucks to do that, just in gas.

@JeffDrakeson. Biden had nothing to do with Trump’s 2020 deal with OPEC and Putin to slow production. The pandemic resulted in a drastic drop in the amount of gas being used. Now we are seeing higher prices to make up for lost profits. As far as withdrawing from Afghanistan, blame Biden, but first ask why the previous president didn’t act.

Biden is to blame for us entering and staying in Afghanistan when George W. Bush was president.
Biden is to blame for keeping us in Afghanistan throughout the Obama presidency.
Biden is to blame for keeping us in Afghanistan throughout the Trump presidency.
The people of Afghanistan are not to blame for what they did to themselves.
It is all Biden’s fault. HE IS TO BLAME.

Biden blamed Putin for high gas prices. Never forget that. He blamed Trump now he should be blamed. Biden also needs to be blamed for Afghanistan debacle.
