Glad he was found safe. Glad he could get help. 4 members of my family became stranded about 10 years ago. They had mechanical issues and had floated all the way down to the log jam and were stuck. We called authorities and they wouldn’t help. And the game warden actually was lecturing my husband about the situation when my husband’s phone died. I had to pay a man to go get them and haul them to the Florida side. We haven’t been back to the river since. If in trouble an no one will help…is frightening.

i see him walking along the streets in flomaton all the time. he has done it for years. hope he can stay away from the creek.

So glad he was found and is safe. Our whole family got stranded on the Escambia River many years ago and four of us spent the night in the cold in a small boat. I pays to let someone know where you plan to go on the water and when you plan to return. They can look for you if you do not return. That was one miserable night for us.
