Good morning! I applied for the Care Act Emergency Mortgage Assistance and they assisted me with my mortgage 2 years ago September 2020 to December 2020. So, 2 years later this program came available so I applied for assistance I need an income form and W9 from my mortgage company. Now! this morning I check my email and it states that I am ineligible because I received assistance 2 years ago. The program did not state any assistance from 2 years ago!

We had COVID in February and did at home COVID tests which were positive. I called my children’s dr and was told to quarantine for 5 days and I don’t think the nurse recorded it. We didn’t even call our own doctors. My husband took off two weeks. Unfortunately their is no official record of us having COVID anywhere. We did fall behind because of that and could use the assistance but wow, the requirements for this are tough.

There are plenty of Jobs out there and no shortage of companies eager to hire. Kind of a waste of of tax dollars. But… I am pretty sure there will also be no shortage of “victims” eager to put their hands out and take.

This program is very specific in who these funds are designated for – people who were negatively financially affected by Covid. It’ll take some specifics to ensure that the funds are getting to those folks targeted and not others who may try to get at the funds but are not qualified.

Unfortunately, there are those who might try to obtain these funds but are not qualified, per the specifics of the program. There are other programs designed to help folks who need assistance.

There are those of us who of oldage on fix income who sufferd the impact of cov19.but we struggled and paid our bills. Those this make us ineligible for assistance. Do we not qualified, our struggle was as really. Thank you for reading this. God’s blessings upon you.

Holy smokes Escambia County. Wiith all those requirements, you’d think the money was coming out of the commissioners annuity plans.

There’s less requirements to be the president my goodness.
