@Jim You have no Constitutional rights to social media and if everything is documented in the system properly he should not own a gun either if he applies, period. I have said it and said it, the reason we are in the situation we are in right now in this country is that we’ve catered to every little groups rights. I’m sorry not every group deserves rights. Wait until the pendulum swings back ultra conservative, because every extreme action by one side will provoke an extreme reaction, so when the pendulum swings the other way… I’m personally looking forward to it, then these groups can crawl back under the rocks they crawled out from under… and people like this can go straight to prison where they belong.

Certainly not defending this person, but I can understand road rage. I am 73 year old woman and have never gotten a ticket, only one accident, which wasn’t my fault, but I drive a tall Nissan Van with an enclosed trailer as big as my van, and people pull out in front of me a lot of time. Some, I have just about have to put the nose of that van inside their vehicle. As much as I would love to do a few things to the driver, that is as far as it goes. The things I have in my head to what I would love to do stays inside my head. I figure, I’ll let Karma take care of them, or someone that is stupid enough to act out on their road rage fantasy take care of them. I will not allow stupid drivers drive me to a point where I throw things at them, or what ever. Am I perfect? Hell no. Yep, once in a while, I do the old sign language

People out acting foolish just because they think they can I’m not saying one way or the other about if it had been someone else he did this to but y’all are all thinking that very same thing. @mnon ~ I agree, he needs to face the consequences of his actions, but in this country, we don’t start taking away Constitutional rights because someone messes up. We’ve all done stupid things, lost our temper for no good reason, or taken our frustrations out on others. I also agree that someone needs to take a look at what’s going on with this young man; maybe he needs counseling, maybe he needs intervention, and he definitely needs our prayers, but we don’t take away someone’s future over something like this.
(And, no, I’m not excusing his behavior.)
