@Fence Jumper. The PPD and most other agencies have strict pursuit policies. The radio traffic is also recorded. So if the policy is violated and you try and cover it up on the radio it won’t work. When the blue lights are activated the dash cam is activated. Its easy to make judgements about issues you know nothing about. Maybe you should actually know what you’re talking about before offering an uneducated opinion.

In the last two weeks once in Esc Co and just this weekend in Santa Rosa innocent people were killed by fleeing suspects and the police gave up the chase before the wreck so they say. This story reads as though the PPD did not give up the chase. Had he killed someone the story would have said the police stopped chasing them and then came upon the wreck. It just seems to easy to say we stopped chasing the suspect if a death occurs because of it.
