People want government to step in and take control but then complain that it’s not enough. Maybe his family should step up and take some responsibility for him as well. It has nothing to do with race or how much money one may have or not, if an individual refuses treatment there’s not much you can do except restrict their movements. THEN immediately sent to jail where his medication could be given as prescribed (checking in the mouth, under his tongue, between lips and gums, etc, to make sure he has swallowed it). Mental illness may certainly be a cause but definitely not an excuse. We all must be accountable for our actions, the mentally ill as well. A good long jail sentence for this man might make him realize the importance of continuing to take his medication(s) to avoid another lonngggg stay in jail. This really was NOT one of those times. Isaac needs help that he has been unable to find. Mental healthcare is a freaking joke in this area, especially when dealing with Lakeview, which is pretty much the only option in Century.
