Why is it always the government must do something to fix the problem? There is a stop sign, the rest of the decision making is up to the drivers. You can choose to turn right, choose a different exit, or choose a different store. This particular case appears to be someone who pulled out in front of another vehicle. Lacking information, did the person run the stop sign or just missed seeing the vehicle? It’s not the governments job to fix every issue, it’s our responsibility to do the best we can also. Unfortunantly, there will always be traffic accidents, regardless.

I was just joking about Albertsons, but seriously that is a very busy little intersection and something needs to be done to improve safety.

They should close the intersection at Boulder and Mobile Highway or put a traffic light there. That is not the first fatality there. When people make a right turn from Boulder Avenue, many start fighting to get in the inside lane so they can make an illegal left turn across double yellow lines, into Winn Dixie and/or Walgrens.

Nothing wrong with that intersection except driver error. If people would pay attention and obey traffic laws there wouldn’t be an issue.

That intersection needs to be closed. I drive through there daily and it is a very dangerous place. Maybe if we closed Albertsons it would reduce traffic and save lives
